Doreen Woodford
Miss Doreen Woodford, one of our founding trustees, sadly passed away peacefully in her sleep on Saturday the 31st of December. She will be missed by many not least from within our organisation which bears her name and also from within the deaf community which she has been a part her entire life. Doreen’s unequivocal enthusiasm and dedication to deaf children here in the UK and around the world has meant that she has touched thousands of people and improved their lives for the better. Even in the last year of her life she travelled to Africa to visit some of the projects and people she has helped for so long.
We miss you Doreen.
