About us

We have a vision of a world in which children and young people who have sensory impairments are full and active participants in their families and communities.

To make that vision a reality, we work with other organisations to support and empower deaf children in income-poor countries. We want to make sure they have access to education and vocational training, that they are treated with dignity and respect and that they have a strong sense of their own self-worth.

We are a small charity based in Shrewsbury in the UK. We make sure we are effective by developing partnerships with community-based initiatives and other international charities and non-governmental organisations.

Right now we are working in parts of Tanzania, Uganda and Malawi.

You can support our work by making a donation online and there are loads of other ways you can help.
